Mathematics and science, taught properly.

Every student starts with a free written evaluation, joins a group of no more than 3, and is taught by a specialist in that subject. Parents get a written note every week.

Subjects

What we teach

Ontario, American, IB and university syllabuses — from elementary foundations through undergraduate engineering.

Mathematics

All levels

From number sense and fractions to Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors and university mathematics. No grade ceiling.

Mathematics →

Physics

Secondary & university

Concept first, then the algebra — secondary physics through to undergraduate mechanics and electromagnetism.

Physics →

Chemistry

SCH3U · SCH4U

Stoichiometry, equilibrium, organic — taught against your child's own textbook and course outline.

Chemistry →

IB Mathematics

AA & AI · SL & HL

Year-round support plus intensive revision through the exam cycle, including the internal assessment.

IB Mathematics →

AP Calculus

AB & BC

Full syllabus coverage with timed past-paper practice in the run-up to May exams.

AP Calculus →

Electrical & Electronics

University papers

Circuits, devices, machines and power systems — undergraduate engineering support that local tutoring centres do not offer.

Electrical & Electronics →

Exam & University Prep

EQAO · SAT · Admissions

EQAO readiness in the junior years, SAT Math and application-season planning in the senior ones.

Curricula

Which syllabus are you following?

We teach against the course your student is actually sitting, not a generic worksheet pack.

Ontario

The full provincial pathway — elementary mathematics, MTH1W and MPM2D, MCR3U, MHF4U and MCV4U, and the Grade 11 and 12 sciences.

American

US high-school mathematics and physics, AP Calculus AB and BC, and SAT Mathematics for students applying to American universities.

International Baccalaureate

Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation, at both Standard and Higher Level, including the internal assessment.

University

Undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics, university physics, and electrical and electronics engineering papers.

Programmes

Grouped by stage, not by age

Students are placed on what the evaluation shows, so nobody sits in a room where they are the only one lost. How often they come, and for how long, is agreed with you — once a week or every day.

Why us

What makes us different

Four things we will not compromise on, and which you can hold us to.

One

Named specialists

You know exactly who teaches your child, and what they are qualified in. Nobody teaches outside their discipline, and there is no rotating pool of part-time tutors.

Two

Three students, maximum

A number we publish and keep. Every student gets equal attention.

Three

Senior STEM, properly covered

Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, Grade 12 Physics and Chemistry, IB Higher Level and AP — the courses that decide university offers.

Four

A written note every week

What was covered, what was set, what to watch for at home. You never have to wait for a report card to find out how it is going.

Free evaluation

Taught, not just tested

Thirty minutes, in centre or online, at no cost and no obligation. It is a real lesson as well as an assessment, so your child leaves having learned something — and you have a written plan in hand before deciding anything.

01

A lesson, and an assessment

Thirty minutes of real teaching, alongside a written diagnostic that shows where the reasoning breaks down — not just which answers were wrong. Your child leaves having learned something.

02

The plan

Within two days you receive a short document naming the specific gaps and how long we expect them to take.

03

Placement

Your child joins a group matched to their level, so the teaching starts where they actually are.

Request your evaluation

We will confirm a time within one business day.

No cost, and no obligation to enrol.

About

A note from our founder

Welcome to Christ Academy!

It is my great joy and privilege to welcome you to Christ Academy, a place where we believe that every student has the ability to learn, grow, and achieve their God-given potential.

As an educator and mathematics researcher, I have always believed that education is much more than achieving high marks. True education develops knowledge, confidence, critical thinking, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning. At Christ Academy, our goal is to help students build a strong academic foundation while encouraging them to think independently and approach challenges with confidence.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you teach in centre or online?

Both. Classes run at our Mississauga centre and over live video, and students may move between the two when travel or illness makes it necessary.

How large are the classes?

Three students at most, grouped by current level rather than age alone, so every student gets equal attention.

Is the first session really free, and is it a trial class?

Yes to both. The thirty-minute session is free, with no obligation to enrol, and it is a real lesson as well as an assessment — your child is taught, not just tested, so you both see how we work before deciding anything. You also receive written feedback and a plan.

What happens if a class is missed?

Tell us ahead of time and we will place the student in another group that week, or send the recording and practice set where a make-up is not possible.

How is homework handled?

A short set follows each session and is marked before the next one. Feedback goes to the student, and a summary goes to parents.
